New Japanese restaurant offers raw fish, hot hibachi

PLYMOUTH - Whether your taste is for some raw octopus and tuna or some sizzling filet mignon, New Tokyo has what you're looking for.
Though only open for a week, Plymouth's newest Japanese restaurant has already seen astounding business, according to Manager Casidy Lu. With no advertising, Saturday evening saw a record turnout as dozens of people came ri sample the new eatery.
"We were overwhelmed by the crowd," Lu said. “The bar made over 120 mai tais. We actually ran out of grenadine." According to Lu, sushi has become a mainstream cuisine, and the question hasn't been whether the people of Plymouth will bite, but what will be their dish of choice.
"It's very healthy and fresh," Lu said. "People who are not familiar should go to the bar and the chef will educate you." Atop the sushi bar are several small wooden boats. While decorative, the boats also function as serving dishes when customers order sushi for two.
At the hibachi tables, customers are treated to a show with their dinner. The chefs prepare the food in front of the patrons and add a little zest to the process, flipping the vegetables and meat...
